Twenty-eight gents gathered at Dunaverty Golf Club for the end-of-season Winter League Scramble and 2023/24 prize-giving last Sunday.
The weather played its part, with a beautiful spring day with blue skies and little wind.
Winners of the Scramble were the team of Neil Brodie, John Marrison, Robert MacKay and Dougie Graham, who carded an impressive nett score of 49.6 to pip Douglas Neilson, Alex Arkell, Fraser McNair and club captain Willie Ralston.
“Thanks to greenkeepers Jonathan Barbour and Campbell MacBrayne, as the course is in excellent condition, and to Moyra Jane Paterson and staff at The Putt Stop for the usual high standard meal to follow,” said a club spokesperson.
“With a total of 55 players taking part this year, it will be a tough act to follow in 2024/25...but we relish a challenge!”
