This week we feature two photographs of contrasting subject matter, but each memorable in their own right.
Kilmartin’s Rosemary Neagle sent in this image of a delicate damselfly. She explained: ‘After a long time trying to get a close up photograph of the Beautiful Demoiselle, I finally managed to capture this image of it sheltering from a shower under foliage. It’s normally seen on a warm day darting to and fro over streams.’
The Argyll skies have been ablaze with spectacular sunsets over recent weeks, but Inveraray man Donald John MacDonald was out and about early enough to capture this gorgeous sunrise over Inveraray on Monday June 28. Looks like a warning to any sheep farmers out there.
