Government coronavirus guidelines have caught the attention of our artistic contributor Ann Thomas.

The UK and Scottish governments have been under pressure to review the recommended two-metre social distancing rule to allow more businesses to re-open sensibly.

Scientific advisers, however, say a one metre separation carries a much greater risk of coronavirus transmission than being two metres apart.
