Members of the Fyne Stirrers Spoon Carving Club showed off the club’s new hoodies at the club’s monthly meeting on Saturday February 16.

The new items were supplied and embroidered by local company Kit-You-Out, work wear and uniform specialists.

Stacey Elliott of Kit-You-Out was particularly happy with how the embroidered logo turned out and thought the printed logo onto the leather apron was a triumph.

Fyne Stirrers were keen to keep the purchase and design of their club garments local and were impressed with Stacey’s range of clothing. Thanks from the group also goes out to illustrator and graphic designer Robyn Glendinning for coming up with the logo.

Plenty spoons were carved on the day with some members also making leather sheaths for their carving knives and axes.

The next meeting is on Sunday March 17 at the Heart of Argyll Wildlife Centre at Barrandaimh. Check out the carvers Facebook Group page or email iggreenwoodworker@gmail.com for more details.
