Lochgilphead Joint Campus raised £661 for the Beatson Cancer Charity.

Emma Lowe, S6, with Ann Devine, campus principal, handed over a cheque for £661 to Maria MacKenzie of Icon hairdressers, who accepted it on behalf of the Beatson charity as part of their recent fundraising drive that included a large raffle. This is on top of the £6,500 already raised by the teamwork of Maria MacKenzie and Yvie Young.

The school’s non-uniform day raised the impressive sum. And, as an added bonus, S2 pupil Paige McGarry won a Nintendo Switch donated by Maria and entered into a special prize draw.
