Glassary, Kilmartin and Ford Parish Church is holding a rummage sale on Friday and Saturday January 18 and 19.

In the old church hall in Kilmartin between 2pm and 4pm on Friday and 12pm to 3pm on Saturday, the hall will be filled with goodies ranging from a communion table (sealed bids from £75 upwards) to a set of dishes for £2. There is even a set of weights for the fighting fit enthusiasts.

If you are up for a bit of upcycling, there are odd pieces of furniture, mirrors and the like – and if you are really keen you could buy a pew and make a terrific kitchen bench, but pews have to be removed by the buyer.

All proceeds will go to church funds and remember to enquire if you are interested in purchasing one of the old church buildings, soon to go on the open market.
