Black smoke billowed from a fire near Duncholgan outside Lochgilphead on the evening of Monday May 14.

Firefighters attended the blaze, which was quickly extinguished.

The fire is understood to have taken hold after a pile of rubbish, including tyres, was set alight. Police confirmed no significant damage was caused to the surrounding area.

No charges have been brought in relation to the incident and investigations continue.
