The club’s home shirt has been sponsored by ArgyllSHARE, a social project aimed at tackling rural and hidden homelessness in our communities.
Co-founded in 2015 by Sharon Wilkie-Jones, SHARE began life as a social project at Bolton Sixth Form College. Since moving to Argyll with husband Sandy, ArgyllSHARE has been set up as a focus for using creative arts to challenge and change perceptions about homelessness.
‘ArgyllSHARE is proud to sponsor the shirt of Lochgilphead Red Star AFC and give practical support to our local grassroots football team,’ said Sharon.
‘We are committed to making a positive long-term difference to life in Argyll and remain committed to our aims of being not-for-profit, inclusive, welcoming and non-judgemental.’
