A professional sailor from Bellanoch has rounded off a successful year with two podium results.

Twenty-three-year-old Lorenzo Chiavarini finished fourth in the World Cup in Gamagori, Japan and achieved a bronze medal in the Enoshima Olympic Sailing week.

Earlier this year Lorenzo competed in the World Cup series, European and World Championships in Split, Croatia, as well as completing training in the 2020 Olympic course in Tokyo Bay.

Lorenzo returned home to Bellanoch last week for a short break before returning to continue training with the Team GB Olympic sailing team in Weymouth.
