The emergency services were called out after a car caught fire on a busy trunk road through Lochgilphead.
On the morning of Monday November 13 the Volkswagen Golf, parked on Lochnell Street – which forms part of the A83 – went on fire due to an apparent electrical fault.
Police attended and closed the trunk road as flames engulfed the vehicle, with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service ensuring the fire was extinguished.
It is understood that nobody was injured in the blaze.
Firefighters were quickly on the scene to extinguish the flames. no_a46fire
