Mid Argyll Rugby Club club held its end of season barbecue and prize giving back in July.

All the players had a fantastic season and it was extremely difficult to single anyone out, but in the end the awards went to:

P4/5 Player of the season – Vinnie Buckley

P4/5 Most improved player (shared)– Jorja and Jemma MacDonald

P6/7 Player of the season – Kyle Danson

P6/7 Most improved player of the season – James Campbell

The ‘hardest working at training’ award went to Anya Gritten, and the joint captains last year of William Wilson and Logan Allen received the Mull RFC fair play award which was presented to the club following the Dalriada tournament on Mull in May.

This was a great achievement, given that this festival is always very well attended with clubs travelling from Glasgow and Helensburgh to take part.
