A two-day table top sale in Lochgilphead raised almost £300 for a cancer charity.

In previous years this event has been held in Helen Hope’s garden at Bridgend but this time around her friends took it to town to give her a break on her birthday.

Held on Friday and Saturday September 29/30, the sale in the Red Cross Hall hosted a variety of stalls selling everything from shoes to jam.

And if the stress of shopping became too much, tea, coffee and home baking was on offer.

The event raised £270 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
