Lochgilphead golf club’s Kenny McAuley, David Sinclair and Colin Penman came fourth at The Tarbert Hotel sponsored Am-Am on Saturday August 26.
Scoring 55, they were beaten by Boobsa’s Boys (Kenny MacFarlane, Willie Hughes and Angus MacFarlane) who came third on a score of 54.
In second place were the Chancers, comprised of Eric McDougall, Bruce Mclean and Brian Baird, with a score of 53.
Winners of the tournament were the aptly named Wet Wet Wet made up of were Captain Keith MacTaggart, Iain Johnstone jnr and Sheena Ferguson.
The club is grateful to Lochgilphead Golf Club members for their continued support and to the Dunaverty and Cardross boys who travelled to support the event.
Winning captain Keith MacTaggart thanked all who were able to support the Am Am, the Tarbert Hotel for its sponsorship and Georgie Dickson and Sheena Ferguson for the superb catering.
The next gents competition is on September 9 for the James Johnson Cup.
