Lochgilphead, however, has little need for social media. People here use the railings at the top of Argyll Street to advertise events.
Two of these events – Mid Argyll Show and the art exhibition – have been promoted in the Argyllshire Advertiser to good effect.
But sometimes you can’t beat the old-fashioned ways.
