A woman driving the morning after a drinking session failed a breath test when she was stopped by police at 10am.
At Campbeltown Sheriff Court last Thursday, Anna Lina Savage, 33, of Lochnell Street, Lochgilphead, pleaded guilty to one charge of exceeding the drink drive limit, on July 7, on the A83 near Tarbert.
Earlier the court heard that when Savage, a first time offender, was stopped a roadside breath test gave a reading of 38mg in 100ml of breath, in comparison to the legal limit which is 22mg.
Sheriff Patrick Hughes banned Savage from the road for 12 months, fined her £300 and ordered her to take a drink driving rehabilitation course within four months.
