An accident on the A83 between Dunderave and Loch Fyne Oysters forced the temporary closure of the road on Tuesday evening.
The emergency services attended at around 6.45pm on Tuesday July 11 and found a car had crashed off the road, down an embankment and struck a tree. The driver was taken to Loch Fyne Oysters, from where he was taken by air ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
The road re-opened at 10.10pm.
