Mark Beaumont’s world record attempt to cycle the world in 80 days is a phenomenal challenge.
We continue to be astonished by Mark’s ability to push the boundaries of
endurance cycling. Great things happen when you challenge your own boundaries, and through this incredible world record attempt Mark will also be inspiring the next generation of endurance athletes.
Argyll and the Isles Tourism Co-operative is proud to have Mark Beaumont as the face of Wild About Argyll and looks forward to welcoming him back to Argyll and the Isles in a few days as he circumnavigates the 3,500-mile UK coastline on his Around Britain training ride.
Mark will cycle through Argyll and the Isles approximately a week after he sets off on the Around Britain ride on April 4. Anyone interested in joining Mark for a few miles should follow the tracker on the website for live updates.
We wish Mark and all the Artemis World Cycle Team the very best of luck for the ultimate challenge this summer, and we’ll be following him throughout via his tracker on
