No cup glory for the Dookers

The Dookers went down 2-1 to Rosehill Star despite Nikki MacDougall’s goal – which was unfortunately followed by a red card.

This  led to Tarbert AFC being put out of the Coronation Cup.

Dookers braced for new season

Having finished last season in great form all those connected to Tarbert Football Club are looking forward to the first game of the 2014/15 season when they plan to continue their unbeaten league record in 2014.

The Dookers narrowly lost to eventual SAFL Division 1A champions, Drumchapel, in December 2013 but never suffered any more losses in the league when it ended in May.

Their only defeat was to league runners up Ferguslie Star in the Coronation Cup.

Tarbert AFC’s unbeaten record continues

Tarbert AFC welcomed Rosehill to Cil Andreis on Saturday looking to continue their impressive league run which has seen them go unbeaten since the start of the year.

And despite two players leaving the pitch with nasty injuries the home side managed to secure another victory.
