Vandals deface Lochgilphead pavilion three days after re-opening

Vandals have splattered graffiti over the outside walls of the changing rooms at Ropework Park, 72 hours after the building was re-opened following an extensive six-week renovation.

Lochgilphead residents were appalled to find the front of the pavilion daubed with spray paint.

Tarbert builds on impressive start to the season

Tarbert bagged another five goals for the second week in a row in a  seven-goal thriller.

They welcomed the Argyll FC outfit from Alexandria to Cil Andreis looking to build on their impressive start to the league season which saw them score five against Renfrew the previous week.

Dougie says farewell to his playing days

Dougie Moore made his last appearance for Lochgilphead Red Star on Saturday May 25 2013 during the team’s final game of the season against Shawlands at Ropework Park.
