SUPPORTERS of Allt Dearg Community Wind Farm breathed a sigh of relief last Thursday as councillors gave the development the green light. Argyll and Bute Council’s Planning, Protective Services and Licensing Committee accepted Allt Dearg Wind Farmers’ application for the 12-turbine development at South Knapdale.

TWO more beavers were released into Knapdale this week. On Wednesday June 23, one male and a female, aged two and two and a half years, were set free into the trial site. The animals have come from Norway.
