ARGYLL Council for Voluntary Services, now working in conjunction with Argyll and Bute Volunteer Centre, has a dedicated web portal for the third sector in Argyll and Bute.
Argyll Council for Voluntary Services set up the Argyll Communities Web Portal in autumn 2005 and it has been growing ever since.
The most recent addition to the portal is the On-line Community Directory where people can find the contact information of groups operating in the county.
Details of how to apply for a free listing and how to search the directory can be found at www.argyllcommunities.org/organisations.asp
As well as entry in the directory, any voluntary or community group in the county is eligible for a low cost, easily maintained website.
This facility is provided by Argyll Council for Voluntary Services.
