Lunch for Cancer Care
£235,000 raised for charity

MEMBERS and friends from the Mid Argyll Cancer Care Support Group attended the annual fundraising lunch and fashion show for Breast Cancer Care Scotland at Glasgow’s Radisson Hotel recently.
The lunch together with a dinner that evening raised £235,000 for the charity.
The Mid Argyll group meet again on Monday, October 6 at 7pm in the Red Cross Hall in Lochgilphead and a warm welcome is extended to all to come along for a cup of tea.
The guest speaker will be archivist Murdo MacDonald who will be talking about the past 60 years of the National Health Service. This will be Murdo’s last talk before he retires.
