A NUMBER of new student teachers from across Argyll and Bute will be taking up placements across the county following their graduations.
Lesley Kean will be taking up a placement within Argyll, Lesley Scott will join Ardrishaig Primary, Margaret McCulloch will go to Tarbert Academy, whilst Lesley Anne Black will be posted to Park Primary school in Oban.
Jane Bruce will join Inveraray Primary; and Chris Kay and Karen Clark have both taken up placements out with Argyll.
The council’s education spokeswoman, Councillor Isobel Strong, said: ‘This is a wonderful news and I would like to congratulate everyone for their hard work and dedication.
I am sure they will have a wonderful time teaching in Argyll and Bute and I wish them all them all the very best of luck in their new roles.’
