KILTS, CABERS and misty rain greeted visitors to the annual Inveraray Highland Games on Tuesday.
Held in the castle grounds, the traditional games saw both national and international visitors and competitors take part and embrace the Highland spirit.
Both Oban High School Pipe Band and Inveraray and District Pipe Band, with His Grace The Duke of Argyll, leading the parade to Winterton Park for the official opening.
Throughout the day visitors enjoyed piping, highland dancing, heavy, field and track events as well as cycling and wrestling.
