PUPILS and parents alike entered into the spirit of VE Day at Kilmartin Primary School recently.
The day was held as part of primary five-seven’s research into World War Two with their teacher Dorothy O’Donnell.
Enjoying spam sandwiches seemed a fitting way to celebrate the end of the pupil’s hard work.
Children and parents dressed in a wide variety of traditional and adapted WWII clothing and a range of timely songs were performed to guests at the party.
