INVERARAY pipe band are celebrating once again after picking up a prestigious award for the second year in a row.
The band was thrilled to be named Juvenile Champions at the British Pipe Band Championship held in Birmingham at the weekend.
The band’s triumph comes nearly a year after they won the novice juvenile grade at the World Championships in Glasgow.
Band secretary Jim McMillan said this week: ‘It was well worth the long journey to Birmingham for this event and we are all delighted with the result.
‘Winning this award is a step forward from last year’s success, and the band continues to go from strength to strength.’
