THIS WEEK’S Down Memory Lane photograph was supplied by Mr Robert Wakeham from Castleton.

The picture, taken by Mr Fred Reid, shows Kilmory Castle Clock Lodge, just outside Lochgilphead, in the mid 1970s.

The lodge was built in the mid 19th century by architect Joseph Gordon Douglas.

The building was originally built as a gate lodge to Kilmory Castle.
