Rare catch in Loch Fyne

CLAIRE Cameron from Lochgilphead got quite a surprise when she landed a Loch Fyne Herring during a mackerel trip on Sunday afternoon, July 15.

Claire was with party of ‘local worthies’ returning from the Bastille Day celebrations at Otterferry when she caught the silver darling.

Everyone on board the Keltic Lady caught loads of mackerel but none could match Claire’s rare catch.
