McGlynn win at autocross
Published:  18 July, 2007

THE battle for league points continued on a sunny Saturday June 30 when the Mid Argyll Car Club took part in three and a half hours of racing at the halfway stage in this years league.

Although not a cup winner at this event, Ian McDougal of Inveraray put in a good performance, as did Lewis Anderson of Ardrishaig.

Lewis is still new to the sport but is doing very well.

Gordon Gauld, who left the track at high speed, said he wasn’t concentrating; he was too busy wondering if Adam made it to Manchester Airport.

After 36 races the results were as follows: first on 12 points Ian McGlynn, second on 11 points Goldie, and third on 10 points James (Toaster) McEwen.

The club would like to say a special thanks to the Forestry Commission Whitegates.
