Lochgilphead obstacles get in way of mobility scooter users

Karen Cameron LochgilpheadA disability mobility scooter user is calling for safer crossings on roads in Lochgilphead.

Karen Cameron, 33, who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) seven years ago, decided to get a mobility scooter last year.

But it has  brought a new set of problems; including crossing main roads, getting on and off pavements where there are no dropped kerbs and wheelie bins and parked cars blocking footpaths.
