A PROPOSAL to build 200 houses on Kilmory Show Field and surrounding land has been abandoned by Argyll and Bute Council,but the long-term future of the site has still not been decided.
The council unveiled proposals to designate the show ground as a potential site for 200 homes in a strategic planning document last year – a move that outraged organisers of the show.
