POLICE are appealing for information after a man’s body was found close to Strachur Primary School on Thursday,September 27 2012.
The man,aged 46 from Poland,was discovered at 10.45am on the Strachur to Glenbranter Road,near the northern junction with the A815. He is described as being around 5ft 8,of stocky build with grey/black hair and a beard.
It is believed the man was last seen in Strachur petrol station between 10.15am and 10.30am.
Detective Inspector Douglas Wilson of Dunoon CID said:‘A post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death and we are treating it as unexplained at this time.
‘We are trying to piece together this man’s movements prior to his death and would like to speak to anyone who has seen him since leaving the petrol station around 10.30am on Thursday morning. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dunoon CID on 01369 763000.’
