CHEERS could be heard around Lochgilphead on Sunday,September 23 2012,as locals gathered to cheer on 150 athletes taking part in the annual Mid Argyll Triathlon.
A gruelling challenge of swimming,cycling and running saw juniors aged just 14 joined veteran athletes in completing the course in record times.
Clyde,the mascot for the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow,was also in town to cheer on the athletes and congratulate the medal winners.
