THE BIGGEST and best yet was how organisers described the third annual Crinan Water Festival on Sunday.
The event,organised by the Heart of Argyll Tourism Alliance,saw about 2,500 people descend on the banks of the Crinan Canal to take part in the biggest ever programme of events.
Canoe and pico dinghy sailing lessons,a Dragonfly Hunt,lantern making workshops,Walter Walkers,kite displays and a performance from the Walking Theatre Company were all new additions to the 2012 festival.
