THE RAIN returned to Winterton Park on Tuesday July 17 2012 as the annual Inveraray Highland Games got underway.
Home to the renowned World Caber Championships,thousands of people from across the globe turned out to see the world’s strongest men compete across a range of heavyweight sports.
Visitors to the games saw athletes endure a seven-hour contest of physical strength as they battled against each other in the shot put,hammer throw and tossing the world’s largest caber.
The 2012 event also attracted another film crew to Inveraray and one of the UK’s finest actresses,Caroline Quentin.
