MORE THAN 50 golfers descended on Tarbert Golf Course recently as the ninth annual Ladies Open got underway.
The competitors,representing fourteen clubs from as far afield as Arran,Cowal and north Lorne,played in blustery but mostly dry conditions throughout the day.
The competition format was Stableford,with prizes also available for scratch,birdies,longest drives and nearest the pin.
