Lochgilphead Armed Forces Day parade 2011

Lochgilphead held an Armed Forces Day,on Saturday June 18,2011,with a parade and stalls on the front green. More than 100 armed forces personnel and veterans lined the town’s streets. Representatives from The Royal British Legion Scotland,Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Association,as well as veterans from across Scotland,including Erskine,attended the event. Sea,army and air cadets were also in attendance.
